The Somerset PTSA is encouraging all Somerset students to participate in the 2018 Reflections Program. The Reflections program is sponsored by the National PTA and Washington State PTA to promote and encourage artistic creativity.
It is the 50th-year competition and the Theme of this year is Heroes Around Me. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. A student may submit an entry/entries in six art areas. Only original works of art are accepted. The six art areas are: Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts (2D only), Film/Video, and Choreography/Dance. Please fill the attached form (https://www.wastatepta.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/18-19-Student-Entry-Form-fillable.pdf) to enter the competition(s).
Please format and package your entries strictly following the rules and requirements of the competition. Deadline to submit to Somerset Reflections committee is November 2nd. Good luck and have fun!
