Somerset PTSA

Generally, the PTSA Board meets the second Thursday of each month at the school immediately following school. If you are interested in attending one of these meetings, please advise Michael and/or Marrie Ketchum, PTSA Co-Presidents, or another board member and you can be invited as a guest! We encourage any interested parents or PTSA members to get involved. It will definitely provide you a greater understanding of how the PTSA functions and what the combinded efforts of parents, teachers, and the community can achieve.

This event provides an opportunity for parents to meet the teachers and learn about the exciting curriculum of study the students will explore throughout the year. We hope you will be able to attend this important evening event.

The Back to School Carnival and Walkathon is almost here!! Get ready to collect sponsors, walk laps around the field and earn great prizes. Students love the opportunity to get out of class, celebrate school pride, and help their school. And the Carnival is simply good fun to be had by all!

All PTSA members are invited to join in at PTSA General meetings, held at the school. Please try to attend one or more of these meetings so you can hear in greater detail how the PTSA at Somerset is doing and where we could use more help! Parent and teacher involvement is crucial for all issues regarding child safety, school safety, nutrition, student achievement, education, and much more! Listen and be heard.
