Procurement

2-3 volunteers

Obtain items for On-Line/Silent

Approx. 2-3 hours a week (Oct, Nov, Dec, & Jan, March, May)

Ask for items
Obtain items and deliver to secure location

Write Auction Lot Descriptions

Program

1-2 volunteers

Prepare the Paper Program

Approx. 20 hours month (Jan, Feb and intermittently in the months after to finalize)

Design and create the program for the event
Gather information for Program
Create graphics for purchased ads when needed
Carefully Proof Program

Sponsorships

1-2 volunteers

Find Event Sponsors

Approx. 2 hours a week (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb,May)

Ask individual Sponsors
Obtain funds from Sponsors prior to Publication Date of Program
Ensure that sponsorship benefits are honored (ie Program and Slideshow inclusion)

Advertisement

1-2 volunteers

Find Program Sponsors

Approx. 2 hours a week (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, May)

Approx. 2-4 hours a week concentrated more at the beginning and closer to the auction (Oct -May)

Classroom Projects

2-3 volunteers

Work Classroom Parents to Prepare Projects

2-4 hours a week (November - January, March, May)

Work with individual classroom parents to select grade appropriate classroom projects that will be auction in the on-line action
Photograph projects
Deliver Projects to on-line auction secure site
Write Description of Project for each grade level
Make sure each item is labeled correctly and listed correctly on auction site
