The Somerset Community Association is joining forces with Somerset Elementary PTSA for our annual Somerset Lunar New Year celebration! This event will feature a lion dance, dragon dance with drums, and a Kung Fu performance by the Shaolin master and his students. Come enjoy the festivities and usher in the Year of the Rabbit with old and new friends!

To keep this event fun and safe for all, we would like to remind everyone of the following: 

  • We expect this to be a very festive, crowded event! We encourage everyone who is able to carpool or walk to the event.
  • The Bellevue Police Department (BPD) has offered to be present to facilitate traffic and ensure overall safety.
  • Please be mindful of our neighbors while parking - do not block driveways.
  • Event entrance will be through the Cafeteria side door.
  • This is not a drop-off event: guardians must remain with children at all times.
  • Please do not enter the school or the hallways: The only space reserved for this event is the Cafeteria/Gym.
  • Please keep our school beautiful - remember to place trash in appropriate bins.

 

Our mission is to support the education, health, and welfare of each and every child at Somerset Elementary School. As part of the Washington State PTA, we are a nonprofit membership association bringing together the home, school, and community on behalf of our children.
