Waldszenen (Forest Scenes) - Classical Music and Story

This interactive concert features the piano piece Waldszenen (Forest Scenes) by German composer Robert Schumann. A reading of The Bear and the Piano, a storybook by English author David Litchfield, will also be included. Litchfield's intricate artwork and Schumann's varied and inviting music (performed live by Hillary Nordwell, piano) illustrate an imaginative and heartwarming story, perfect for all ages. You are welcome to bring your own paper or whiteboard to draw as you listen and, if you like, share your art with our community following the program.

German music seminar will be scheduled on 6pm Thursday, Jan 21st.
