2021-2022 Somerset PTSA’s Fall Fundraising Drive has officially started and runs through 10/15/2021!  We invite all families to participate in this campaign because your contributions, in any amount, makes a big difference to our children during this difficult time, especially when we’ve just returned to school for in-person learning after a year of virtual learning. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.

We have a fundraising goal of $150,000 this school year. Our goal would not be achieved without the generous support of donors like you. 

Somerset PTSA is acutely aware of the many challenges that families in our community are facing. We remain committed to our mission and long-term development for all our children. We rely on your participation in order to provide the student resources necessary for the high standards that we hold for our school. All money raised by the PTSA goes straight back to EVERY student.


We are continuing our excellent partnership with the school in all the possible ways to continue to provide an enriched learning environment for our children. Guided by our mission of putting children first, this year, the role of PTSA is targeted towards the following 4 goals:

  1. Support our wonderful teachers towards resiliency in a demanding and daunting time.
  2. Fund the General School Assistants (GSA's). GSAs help individuals in the classroom while the teacher focuses on the class.  It's our school's way to improve the student teacher ratio and key to your student's success. Please meet our GSA's
  3. Organize curriculum enhancement trips and programs given current COVID restrictions, considering a variety of indoor, outdoor, and virtual interactive options. We are actively planning new activities for the school year.  
  4. Offer selected community building programs such as Passport Club, Math Club, Chess Club, Debate, and more. We are working on new programs, such as Reading Club, Field Day, Jogathon, and Dance Night.

What is the raised fund used for?

  1. Our General School Assistant (GSAs): $150,000
  2. Curriculum Enhancement and programs: $40,000
  3. Grant to School: $23,000
  4. Admin (PTA website, banking, software etc.): $14,000

The average cost per student is over $300.
